Northwood
A suburb of Gainesville, Northwood is a vibrant community that offers residents the best of both worlds. The northern area of Gainesville, Florida, is home to more than 2,100 residents, and it includes Northwood neighborhood. This community is one of the city’s original subdivisions and was founded in 1962. Although Northwood technically falls within the city limits of Alachua and is known locally as “Northwood Village,” it’s actually in unincorporated Alachua County.

It’s a small neighbourhood that sits just northeast of downtown and across 10th Street from the University of Florida.
