The Oaks Mall is a shopping center in Gainesville, Florida, United States. The Oaks Mall opened on October 2, 1977. The mall is located at 16330 NW 12th Avenue, situated just south of the University of Florida campus. It currently has 1 anchor store and 200 other stores. The mall has 2 levels with over 6 million square feet.

It was built in 1977. It was the first regional mall in Houston and was originally called “The Galleria of Katy”. It was built by the late H.E. Butt family and opened on October 22, 1977, with an additional anchor store, Sears, which opened in the spring of 1978. The Mall originally opened with the following anchors: Joske’s (J.C. Penney) and Montgomery Wards. In 1983, the mall was expanded and renamed “The Oaks Mall” and included a new Dillard’s store, as well as a new movie theater complex with a ten-screen cinema.

Along with those anchor stores is a smaller mall, which has a wide variety of clothing stores and shoe stores, such as Skechers and Hot Topic.

The mall is owned by The Macerich Company, and has over 120 stores and restaurants. Anchor stores include Forever 21 and JCPenney, with one vacant anchor last occupied by Sears. The mall is adjacent to the Janss Marketplace outdoor shopping center.

The Oaks Mall (formerly The Oaks Shopping Center) is a single-story shopping mall in Amherst, New York. It is located on the southwest corner of Corporate Parkway (New York State Route 10) and Walden Avenue, with a large parking lot to the south. The mall features approximately 50 stores and services.

The mall was originally built in 1973 by the Pyramid Companies and was known as the Pyramid Mall. It was expanded in 1989 by Pyramid and the New England Development Corporation. The mall was sold in 1992 to The Pyramid Companies, and renamed The Oaks Mall. In 1998 it was sold to Starwood Capital, who began a $4.4 million renovation to the mall in 1998.
