Waldo City Square
Nestled on the northwest corner of Waldo Avenue and 76th Street, Waldo City Square is an 18-acre park that began construction in 1992. Named after the Waldo family, who donated the land in 1986, the park was initially planned to be a golf course but was later changed to a public park. It officially opened in 1989.
Waldo City Square is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It’s the perfect place to start your day with a free breakfast or coffee, and unwind over lunch or dinner with family and friends. The Square features an ever-changing roster of live local music and theater performances, including live blues, folk, bluegrass, and gospel music. Plus, if you’re in the mood to sit in a dark movie theater, you can enjoy the latest releases at matinee prices.
The Waldo City Square is a special park designed as a place for neighbors to come together and socialize. Located within Waldo, FL, the park, which was designed as a gift from the Waldo City Park Board, features eight different gardens, a gazebo, a children’s playground, and lawn areas for outdoor games and picnics.
